Guild Wars 2 Warrior Guide
In this post we are going to take a look at the Warrior in Guild Wars 2 and give you an overview of this profession if you are just starting out. If you are playing as a Warrior this is one of the easier professions to start leveling with.
You will generate Adrenaline with every attack and there are three phases on the Adrenaline bar. Once you get into the 3rd phase you will be dealing the most damage.
As well as that you will be able to use burst skills that are fuelled with Adrenaline that will give you special abilities or extra damage.
The Warrior has one of the widest weapon choices in GW2 and you will be able to wield Swords, Axes, and Maces and offhand you will be able to use shields or War horns.
The awesome thing about the Warrior is that the skills you use will be tied to the weapon that you have equipped and as you can equip so many this makes for some good choice with this profession.
For instance if you swap from a one handed sword to a two-handed broad sword you will see the skills change in the bottom left which are your attacking skills.
The other thing to bear in mind is that just as your skills will change depending on which weapon you have equipped so will your adrenaline bonus as well.
One of the main bugbears with Warriors in other MMO’s has been that you are lost without a healer – not so with GW2 however! You will be able to heal yourself using the skills in the bottom right and ALL professions get a healing ability as well.
The main pros of the Warrior is being able to close distances fast, lots of bleeds and stuns they can use and also high damage!

Guild Wars 2 PVP Guide
In Guild Wars 2 there are some differences to the normal PVP mode that you find in a MMO this post will help run through some of those differences so you find it easier to take part and hopefully win your first few PVP matches.
There are 2 main types of PVP which are:
Structured PVP where you and your team will attempt to capture points on a map while fighting an enemy team.
WvW PVP – This is where your entire server is matched against 2 other servers to battle for control of the maps in the game.
In WvW (World vs World) there are 3 maps that you can queue for which are one for each server playing against each other and the Eternal Battleground.
Your goal is to control as many objectives as you can on the map to make sure your team is scoring points.
Of course the more objectives that you control the more points you get and the more bonuses your world/server will get. On the WvW battlefronts your stats will be boosted to level 80.
The main gameplay is attacking or defending to complete an objective for the team and once it is complete a new objective will start. There are also tools that you can use to make it easier to capture areas on the map such as battering rams that attackers can set up to attack and likewise defenders can use burning oils to protect a gate for instance.
You can take part in structured PVP by the menu “Heart of the Mists” and you will be boosted to level 80 for the battlefront and given some standard PVP gear.
The main thing you want to do here is keep on winning and you will be rewarded with Glory – which is a currency that you can use with the vendors to get some better PVP gear.
I hope this has helped you with the basics for PVP in GW2 and if you are looking for an in-depth guide to leveling, PVP and the Trading Post check out http://www.gw2domination.com
